Rishi Rich's new album "The Project" is out on CD on Monday. Rishi's trademark fusion of bhangra, traditional Indian music and urban beats is extended to take in dancehall, reggaeton and soca, alongside lyrics in Punjabi, Hindi, French & English, on what is a distinctly international album. Featuring the MASSIVE single "Push it up" (feat Jay Sean and Juggy D), appearances by artists such as JD(So Solid), Jassi Sidhu, Josh, J2K, Silinder Pardesi and Master Rakesh only help to make this album more memorable.
Reggaeton, dancehall and soca sounds kick hard behind lyrics in Hindi, Punjabi and English, as well as a smattering of French. 2Point9 Website Relaunch week commencing 7th August 2006
Finally, finally, finally we were in the last throes of testing the new 2Point9 website. All things being well, the launch of the site will be during the week of the launch of Rishi's new album. We will have a jukebox on there, a video jukebox with 2Point9 videos on show as well as other video clips.
And to launch the site, we will be showing a clip from the forthcoming Rishi Rich video "Stomp" featuing JD (Dready), Jay Sean and Mr Phillips. The BRILLIANT animated video will be on your TV within the next few weeks ... but we're holding it back as an exclusive for the 2Point9 site.
