One of the UK’s most successful musical exports, international superstar Jay Sean returns with sure-fire smash hit single, Hit The Lights featuring platinum rapper and label boss, Lil Wayne.
Hit The Lights, which released digitally in the UK on 7th February, follows hot on the heels of dance floor banger 2012, featuring Nicki Minaj, and is the second single from forthcoming album, Freeze Time, coming soon.
Joining forces with Hip Hop royalty once more for this hot new jam, Hit The Lights is an explosive, club tune which combines Jay’s smooth R&B vocals and Lil Wayne’s legendary fast, fiery rhyme.
Selling over 6 million records worldwide on their collaborative number one hit record and seventh best-selling song of 2009, Down, there are big shoes to fill. However, both performers stamp their mark on this track and their latest joint venture looks set to become an anthem for 2011.
With his previous success being the hardest act to follow, Jay Sean has spent time crafting an engaging follow-up to his hugely successful 2009 album All Or Nothing. Lining up two special show dates with global talent Enrique Iglesias, Jay played New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden on February 5th and plays at the Gibson Amphitheaterin Los Angeles on February 19th. In addition, he will be attending the 2011 Grammy Awards on February 13th.
