Taaha shot on to the silver screen last year as the anti-hero in Aditya Chopra’s college based rom-com ’Luv Ka The End’, when he not only received rave reviews from critics for his performance as the not so lovable ‘dude out to score’, but managed to get a fan base that is now following his every move!

At just 24, Taaha’s story is already starting to read like a film script. Just two years ago he left his home, family and business in Dubai to pursue his dreams of becoming a movie star. The Manchester Mega Mela in Platt Fields Park has become the latest casualty of the weather.

The Mela organisers in conjunction with the multi-agency planning group has taken the decision to postpone the two day event which was due to take place this weekend 14/ 15 July.

The unrelenting rain over the last two months has caused real problems and has affected the condition of all of Manchester’s parks.  The continuous rain has meant that Platt Fields park is not suitable for holding the Mela safely and as more rain is predicted in the run up to the event this weekend there would be no chance that it could take place successfully or safely.
